Eric’s Wish

After attending the James Fund Neuroblastoma Family Retreat, Eric and his family decided to help fundraise.  They were able to obtain a few donated prize items for a promotional draw.  We created a little marketing plan and were quite confident that they could raise $2,000.  They sold tickets to friends, neighbours and co-workers, and they also ran a booth at the local farmer’s market.
But along the way, Eric’s story inspired a sweet lady who donated $50,000.00!
Seriously!

 

We are very pleased to announce the Eric Copeland/James Fund Drug Discovery Project.  Eric’s $57,500 will help to test new treatments developed by James Fund scientists, with the hopes of bringing them to clinical trials.   He presented his cheque at the Exotic Car Ride event, held annually in Brampton by ILR Car Control School.
